Sisters School District is comprised of three schools (Elementary, Middle and High School) plus our alternative programs for high school students. We also have a separate transportation facility.

The Operations Department services five buildings and over 50 acres with a staff of nine full-time custodians and three full-time maintenance specialists and groundskeepers.

Operations responsibilities include:

  • Building custodial upkeep, maintenance and repairs
  • Heating/cooling scheduling and maintenance
  • Grounds maintenance, irrigation, and landscaping
  • Deferred maintenance and project planning
  • Light construction and remodeling
  • Equipment repairs
  • Equipment deliveries and set-up
  • District safety, training, and accident reporting
  • Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Records
  • Building security, keys, and vandalism reporting
  • Monitoring of building use activities
  • Energy conservation
  • Garbage and recycling coordination
  • Snow removal
